Part-owner and trainer Sean Bellew has retired his stakes winning mare Sucre.
The Ascot Park horseman made the decision after the Ishiguru seven-year-old finished fifth in the open sprint at Wingatui on Sunday.
Sucre won 12 races including the Listed Great Easter Stakes at Riccarton and she was a multiple black type placegetter.
