A trial win has the New Zealand-bred sprinter Kuro on target for a trip to the Queensland winter carnival.
The Denman four-year-old was never tested to win his 820m heat at Warwick Farm and is likely to be in action on the Gr.1 Stradbroke Handicap undercard at Eagle Farm on June 11.
The Joseph Pride-trained Kuro has won six races and was an open handicap placegetter at Hawkesbury two runs back.
