Snow Secret has returned from her Australian escapades and will spell ahead of Cup-race targets next season.
Cambridge trainer Shaune Ritchie opted to send the Wellington Cup fourth placegetter home after she produced an out-of-character failure in the Listed Port Adelaide Cup (2500m) at Morphettville last weekend. She had finished second in a fillies and mares race at Flemington the start before.
"She paid her way by running second at Flemington and while she was ridden upside down last week, she might not have run on if she'd been ridden cold either," Ritchie said.
"She can spell and then we'll get her ready for spring racing. We'd like to get her into some of those Cup races on the minimum. Races like the Waikato Cup would suit her."
