Leading South Island galloper Belle Miraaj has been retired.
The daughter of Iffraaj hasn't raced this season due to a tendon injury and a more recent issue with a fetlock forced trainer Gay Robinson, who raced the four-year-old with John Dooley, to call time on her career.
Belle Miraaj won five races, including the Gore and Southland Guineas at Listed level, and she ran third in the Gr.1 New Zealand 1000 Guineas.
