Smart two-year-old Mihaul has been sent for a spell after winning at Awapuni on Saturday, but trainer Allan Sharrock isn't looking too far ahead at spring targets.
A winner of both of his starts at two, Mihaul has been the subject of significant interest from overseas buyers.
"There are some serious offers out there, but hopefully we can keep him in New Zealand," Sharrock said.
"He's a lovely horse, with a great nature. He's 16-plus hands and half a tonne, so he's a big two-year-old. He's definitely a Group horse."
