New Zealand-bred mare Azkadellia showed she was on track to double her Group One tally following an effortless trial win at Eagle Farm on Thursday.
The Queen of the Turf Stakes winner coasted home by four lengths in her 1000 metre heat under Michael Cahill as she prepares for the $A1.5 million Stradbroke Handicap on June 11.
"She seems nice and fresh. She's coming back from the mile but I think this will be her track. This is the race that we're targeting," trainer Ciaron Maher said.
"She's got a lot of residual fitness. She ran in the spring and it's only a shortish turnaround into the autumn and now she's up here for the winter."
