Murray Baker believes the well-related Let Me Roar will be adding to her family's black type record in the future.
The Cambridge trainer hasn't been surprised by the filly's perfect three from three record and he fully expects her to continue her impressive progress next season.
"She'll be even better with a bit more time and as a four-year-old we see her as a stakes-winning mare," said Baker, who prepares the daughter of Rip Van Winkle with Andrew Forsman.
A half-sister to Baker's ill-fated dual Group One winner Lion Tamer, Let Me Roar was given a break after a successful debut at Rotorua last December and she has returned to win consecutive races at Pukekohe Park.
Let Me Roar will now chase four victories on the trot in Saturday's ANZ at Te Rapa 1400, depending on the track conditions.
"We've had some torrential rain, but Te Rapa does dry very quickly," Baker said. "She did win on a soft track at Counties so we'll play it by ear, but she is very good."
The stable will also be chasing back to back stakes wins at Awapuni on Saturday with Gustavo.
The five-year-old claimed the Listed Manawatu ITM Anzac Mile last time out in the hands of Masa Tanaka and they will combine again in the Listed James Bull Rangitikei Gold Cup.
"He's well but we're not too sure about him if it's a really heavy track," Baker said. "It will probably be his final run of the season." – NZ Racing Desk.
