Well-related mare Interstellar has made a satisfying return to racing.
The half-sister by Shamoline Warrior to the Gr.1 New Zealand Oaks winner Savaria was a winner at Wanganui last time out when resuming from a seven month break following surgery to remove a bone chip from her knee.
"She had to do it tough after a long time off and was three deep with no cover too, it was a really good effort," co-trainer Jamie Richards said.
Interstellar has two wins and a placing from her four appearances and is considered by the stable to be a bright black type prospect for the future.
