The Tony Pike-trained Sacred Elixir (NZ) (Pour Moi) was successful on his Australian debut at the Sunshine Coast yesterday. The gelding, who finished sixth in the Karaka Million on his last start, beat the Tony Sears-trained Two Shoes (Jet Spur) by a length and a quarter with Meet And Greet (Champions Gallery) another two and a quarter lengths behind in third. Sacred Elixir is nominated for the JJ Atkins (Gr 1, 1600m) on 11 June.
