Riverton mare Hayley Maree is preparing for a second North Island campaign.
Fourth in both the Gr.1 Captain Cook Stakes and the Gr.2 Manawatu Challenge Stakes before Christmas, trainer Kelvin Tyler is keen on the Listed James Bull Rangitikei Gold Cup at Awapuni on May 21 and the Listed Ag Challenge Stakes at Wanganui a fortnight later.
Hayley Maree was a last-start fifth in the Gr.3 South Island Breeders' Stakes at Riccarton where she found the Good 3 track against her and the firm going resulted in her scratching from Saturday's Listed Great Easter Stakes.
