The emphatic victory of Galileo Gold (Paco Boy) in Saturday's 2,000 Guineas marked a breakthrough at Group One level for his sire Paco Boy.
The eleven-year-old son of Desert Style retired to Highclere Stud in 2011 after proving his durability and toughness on the racecourse with eleven successes achieved over four seasons including at the highest level in the the 2008 Prix de la Foret, 2009 Queen Anne Stakes and 2010 Lockinge Stakes.
