Multiple Group One winner Kawi returned to Allan Sharrock's Taranaki stable on Monday.
"He's done really well and furnished – he looks fantastic," he said. "He will definitely run in Australia next season. We'll look at the programmes a bit later and work it all out."
Kawi claimed the Makfi Challenge Stakes, the Zabeel Classic and the Thorndon Mile at the top level this term to boost his record to 11 wins and nearly $700,000 banked from 24 appearances.
