Dual Group One winner Kermadec has been bought by Darley and retired to stand at its Hunter Valley stud in NSW, where he will stand at a fee of A$22,000.
Trained by Chris Waller, the New Zealand bred galloper won four of his 17 starts and earned $2.9 million prize money.
His biggest wins came in last year's Doncaster Mile and George Main Stakes, both over 1600m at Randwick.
Kermadec was bred and sold by the Hawkins family of Wentwood Grange in Cambridge. A son of Teofilo and Hy Fuji, Kermadec was a $260,000 purchase by Auckland bloodstock agent Guy Mulcaster at the 2013 NZB Premier Yearling Sale.
