Sopraffina, a granddaughter of the Caulfield and Melbourne Cup winner Ethereal, will return to the central districts for her next start after her impressive win at Awapuni on Anzac Day.
"We'll take her down to Hastings in three weeks for a 2100 metre race," said co-trainer Steven Ramsay.
Sopraffina had won once in four previous starts (over 1560m at Rotorua) and showed her staying talent with a runaway four and three-quarter length win in a Rating 65 2200 metre race on Monday.
"She's four and being by High Chaparral she's only going to get better with age," said Ramsay. "She could be going for some of the good staying races next season."
