Melbourne-based Richard Chisholm got a quick return on his new investment when Inastride won the Platinum Homes 2100 at Tauranga last Saturday.
"I sold him my share and it went through yesterday," said Chisholm's mother, Dawn, after watching the four-year-old register his second win from seven starts.
Chisholm's husband, Alistair, is still in the syndicate, which includes several who have enjoyed Group One success with Sakhee's Soldier. Inastride had been unlucky at Te Aroha so there was confidence in the camp last Saturday and now the group are hoping Sakhee's Soldier can post his second Group One win at Ellerslie this weekend in the $200,000 Manco Easter.
"I was very happy with his first-up run," said co-trainer Murray Baker.
