Cooper on the move
New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing Company secretary Simon Cooper has been appointed to a senior role with Weatherbys in the United Kingdom.
He will end his 12-year association with NZTR on June 2 to become Operations Director of the General Stud Book company at Weatherbys.
Cooper joined NZTR in 2004 after serving as Communications Director of Attheraces in London and, before that, as Corporate Affairs Secretary and Head of the International Racing Department at the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
