The catalogue for New Zealand Bloodstock's National Weanling, Broodmare and Mixed Bloodstock Sale is now available, with 539 lots catalogued to go through the sale ring at Karaka on May 9-11.
Featuring 294 weanlings, 16 yearlings, 11 two-year-olds, seven unraced horses and eight racehorses in the first two days of the Sale, the third and final day will then comprise 197 broodmares and six stallion shares.
Zarzino, the dam of this season's Group 1 Victoria Derby and Rosehill Guineas winner Tarzino, was purchased at the 2014 National Weanling, Broodmare and Mixed Bloodstock Sale for $1,500. Her yearling colt was then purchased at the Karaka 2016 Premier Sale for $400,000.
