Winx is a red-hot favourite to win Saturday's $A3 million Gr.1 Doncaster Handicap, but Chris Waller hasn't counted out her stablemate Kermadec.
"He's a very good horse, he's already a Doncaster winner and he was the closest to her the other day and gets a 1.5kg turn around in the weights so there's a chance," the expatriate Kiwi trainer said.
The New Zealand-bred Kermadec finished runner-up to Winx in the Gr.1 George Ryder Stakes at Rosehill.
