Consistent filly Volks Lightning will tune up for a return to black type competition when she steps out at Awapuni on Saturday.
She will look to go one better in The Oaks Stud 3YO Premier following her last-start second behind No More Tears in the Gr.3 Mr Tiz Trophy at Ellerslie.
"She's doing really well and her next aim after this will be the Cambridge Breeders' Stakes at Te Rapa," co-trainer Debbie Rogerson said.
