Group Three winning filly Serious Satire had a hit-out at the Matamata trials last week as she builds toward a return to the racetrack.
"She's big in condition," trainer Stephen Marsh said. "She had a long break since she jarred up in the Sarten. She'll have another trial next week at Avondale."
Marsh is eyeing off a start in the Gr.3 Inglis Sales Cambridge Breeders' Stakes on April 30 with the Gold Trail Stakes winner.
"I see Xtravagant is going there now, which is not ideal," he said.
"She could possibly go to Brisbane or we'll give her a quiet winter here and focus on Melbourne in the spring."
