Promising stayer Humidor may chase a stakes target closer to home after away trips for his last two appearances.
The three-year-old finished runner-up at Te Rapa, where he layed in badly and couldn't be ridden out, and he again raced ungenerously when unplaced in the Gr.1 New Zealand Derby.
"He had a week off and he's back in work now," co-trainer Johno Benner said. "We've got the Manawatu Classic pencilled in for him and we'll tinker with a bit of gear on him."
