The connections of Volkstok'n'barrell have yet to decide on a replacement rider for the four-year-old in the $A3 million Gr.1 Doncaster Handicap at Randwick.
Craig Williams had been booked to partner the multiple Group One winner, but an 11 meeting suspension has ruled him out of the opening day of The Championships on April 2.
"It's a shame as it would have been nice to have got somebody who knew the horse," part-owner Garry Cossey said.
Williams rode Volkstok'n'barrell to victory in last season's Gr.1 Rosehill Guineas.
