Danica Guy will chase a Group One victory with her first Australian runner on Saturday.
The Matamata trainer will be represented by Capella in the Vinery Stud Stakes at Rosehill with Opie Bosson to ride the leading Kiwi filly.
The winner of the Gr.2 Eight Carat Classic, Capella hit the line well for fourth in the Gr.1 New Zealand Derby last time out and Guy said the daughter of Rip Van Winkle had travelled well to Sydney.
"It's not the grand final, but it would be encouraging to see her race well."
Capella will clash on Saturday with the Donna Logan and Chris Gibbs-trained Valley Girl with both fillies to then head for a rematch at Randwick in the $A1 million Gr.1 Australian Oaks on April 9.
