New Zealand Bloodstock have relaunched the on-line selling platform gavelhouse.com.
"Our acquisition of gavelhouse.com in 2014 was our first foray into the on-line space as a specific trading tool for horses," NZB Managing Director Andrew Seabrook said. "The timeliness factor of an on-line auction has driven us to take this different direction with the site.
"We have invested heavily to make sure that the technology behind the site is of the highest standard possible as we continue to lead the way as one of the world leaders in bloodstock trading."
gavelhouse.com buyers will have all NZB's services at their fingertips, from airfreight to insurance and finance. Buyers can arrange to inspect any of the horses that are up for sale, either personally or by an agent of their choice. They can also have horses vetted prior to the sale and scoped afterwards.
Former NZB employee Haylie Martin has been appointed as head of sales and marketing.
The first catalogue will be launched at 7pm on Monday 18 April, with the auction being conducted from 7pm on Monday 25 until the auction closes on Thursday 28 April.
