Canterbury apprentice jockey Sam Wynne is confident she will gain a medical clearance on Thursday to enable her to ride at the Riverton Easter meeting.
Wynne had a race-fall at Timaru on Friday. She suffered minor concussion and bruising.
"I got knocked out for a couple of minutes," Wynne, of Christchurch, said. "My left hip is sore and I've got a bruise in the shape of a hoof on my bum."
Wynne's doctor didn't give her a clearance on Monday but he expects to be able to on Thursday.
"I'll go from the doctor to Addington [Raceway] to meet the stewards and do a concussion test.
Hopefully, it'll be all go for Riverton. I've got six rides and I'm looking for more."
