Stakes winner Thorn Prince is closing in on a return to racing.
"He's jumping out of his skin and I couldn't be happier with the way he's progressing," trainer Fraser Auret said.
"He goes well fresh and I'm looking at kicking him off in the Listed Anzac 1600 at Palmerston North on April 25th."
The winner of nine of his 36 starts, including last year's Listed Taumarunui Gold Cup under 59kg, Thorn Prince has also placed at Group level.
