POSITION | HORSE | JOCKEY | COMMENT |
st | RANGIPO | Vinnie Colgan | He jumped well and settled nicely. We were a little flat footed turning for home. He was very determined and had the will to win. Awesome! |
nd | WHAT'S THE STORY | Sam Spratt | Huge run. We nearly got there. He's a huge horse with huge ability and once he puts it all together he'll be very good. |
rd | RAGHU | Michael Walker | It was a good run - travelled up nicely outside the leader. I wanted to wait another 50m but he got there so easy. I feel the 2400m finds him out. 2200m is his trip even 2000m is perfect. |
th | CAPELLA | Leith Innes | It was a super run. They went pretty hard and we got back and come around them. We were a little flat turning in. The last 200m she sprouted wings. |
th | VALLEY GIRL | Danielle Johnson | She went a super race today. She tried hard. If today was a dead 6 I feel like she would've won. |
th | TAVAGO | Noel Callow | We couldn't muster the early speed but he ran home good. |
th | PREDATOR | Jonathan Riddell | He's probably 6 months away. |
th | GET THAT JIVE | Opie Bosson | He went a good race but he just locked up a little the last 200m. |
th | THE HASSLER | Michael Coleman | It was a grinding run. We had a good trip but he just didn't really finish it off. |
th | BRIGHTON | Lee Tiley | He relaxed really nicely in the running, he travelled up nicely under me but he just couldn't give me the sprint he had last time. |
th | HUMIDOR | Mark Du Plessis | He was just on one reign the whole way round. He ran well considering. |
th | PIECE OF KATE | Shaun McKay | I'm really happy with the run. We got into a nice spot and she relaxed well. First time over ground it was good. She has a nice future. |
th | SPLENDIDO | Grant Cooksley | We got hammered and the race was over. |
th | THUNDER DOWN UNDER | Johnathan Parkes | We went to run on but he just couldn't pop the question. |
th | EN SUITE | Rosie Myers | She just couldn't quicken when the others quickened - but she tried hard. |
th | PRODIGAL SON | Trudy Thornton | It was probably a little bit above him. He got a nice run and tried hard. He was just battling a little bit. |
th | GOBSTOPPER | Craig Grylls | We jumped ok. We were midfield at the post the first time, we almost got put down going out of the straight, we went back to last and didn't feel the greatest after that and that was his run over. |
th | SON OF MAHER | Chris Johnson | I ended up in front and he just couldn't kick - he'll be better in time. |
