Yogi's runaway maiden win at Riccarton last month has sealed his future in Melbourne.
The son of Raise The Flag was purchased by Darren Dance's Australian Thoroughbred Bloodstock after the three-year-old broke his duck at his fifth start.
"They money was too good to turn down – six figures, you can't snort at that," co-trainer and part-owner Warwick Coles said. "I only paid $1000 for him.
"The funny thing about him is that he's got no gate speed, but the further he goes the better he'll be."
