Group One winner Dukedom returned to light duties at Steven Cole's Byerley Park stables on Monday morning.
"He's back on the walker and we've got no set plans for him," he said. "We'll get him back sound and he may even go out for a spell after that."
Cole's Gr.1 BMW NZ Derby hopes for Dukedom were dashed after the Gr.1 Levin Classic winner suffered hind leg injuries in the Gr.2 Avondale Guineas.
"You can be on a high one day and a low the next, but that's racing," Cole said.
