The Justice League will look to turn his luck around at Matamata on Saturday.
The three-year-old clipped heels and fell two runs back on Boxing Day and was then checked in the straight at Ellerslie when mounting his run under topweight of 60kg.
"I know how good he is and he would have lengths on Brighton if you put them together on the track," trainer Nigel Tiley said.
Stablemate and Gr.1 BMW New Zealand Derby hope Brighton finished a close second in Saturday's Gr.2 Avondale Guineas.
