Quick improvement is expected from the Victorian-based New Zealand-bred He's Our Rokkii.
The Roc De Cambes three-year-old finished fourth last time out over 1300 metres when resuming at Sandown following a three month break.
"He ran really well and it was a bit short of his best trip – he'll come into his own when he gets back to a mile and beyond," said Tom Dabernig, who trains the gelding with David Hayes.
He's Our Rokkii was purchased by clients of their Euroa operation after he had finished fourth in last season's Gr.1 Manawatu Sires' Produce Stakes from Mark Forbes' Cambridge stable.
