Group One winner Marky Mark is on target to resume later this month.
"We're looking at a couple of options at Matamata, probably the three-year-old race over 1400 metres," trainer Moira Murdoch said.
She was pleased with Marky Mark's effort to run fourth behind Turn Me Loose in a 1000 metre trial at Avondale on Tuesday.
"He got a bit blocked in the straight and Danielle (Johnson) was happy with the way he felt."
Meanwhile, the 2013 Makfi Challenge Stakes winner Survived will do his future racing in Australia following his sale to clients of Archie Alexander's Ballarat stable.
