POSITION | HORSE | JOCKEY | COMMENT |
st | ROSE OF VIRGINIA | Cameron Lammas | She went very well. We were trapped a little wide and opted to go forward, we got a lovely run. She's come out and kept fighting towards the post and won quite nicely. |
nd | SEVENTEEN SEVENTY | Danielle Johnson | It was a good run today. He tried very hard. Obviously considering he was up in grade it was a good effort. |
rd | DECORAH | Opie Bosson | It was a huge run - she just missed the start a little bit and got back. |
th | TROJAN WARRIOR | Sam Spratt | He travelled up nicely, the trip might have been a little too far for him. As he went to kick he just seemed to come to the end of it the last little bit. It was an honest run however and blinkers on I think he will go better. |
th | TEAM PETE | Mark Du Plessis | He went really well. We just got going a bit late. |
th | MICHELIN | Rosie Myers | For his first run at Ellerslie it was a nice run for fifth. He will be better for the experience. |
th | DUBAI SHUFFLE | Leith Innes | He didn't jump well and we got back and it proved too hard to make ground. |
th | PONDAROSA MISS | Trudy Thornton | It was a very confusing run, she is well above what that run was. I wonder if she's feeling something, I'm not sure. I do believe she's happy with a bit more cut in the ground.Hopefully they can find something because that's not her. |
th | JAGERSFONTEIN | Sam Collett | It wasn't a bad run from a horse that's a little bit out of her class. We got stuck on the fence and they went steady and sprinted, which didn't suit her. I think back to a mid-week race would be the best option for her. |
Last | MARKWOOD | Jason Taylor | He just found them a little bit tough and the footing a touch firm. |
