Michelle Payne will chase a trans-Tasman feature cup double at Trentham on Saturday.
The Gr.1 Melbourne Cup-winning jockey has been booked to ride the Gr.3 Trentham Stakes winner Nashville in the Gr.2 Wallaceville Estate Wellington Cup.
Payne has proved popular with New Zealand trainers with nine rides at the meeting, including Ringo in the Gr.1 Thorndon Mile and the last-start winners Caramac in the Douro Cup and Prioritise in the Summer Cup.
Her Trentham duties will be completed by Cyclone Tracy, New York Minute, On The Hill, Notionannagins and Kenya.
Payne will also be in action at Ellerslie on Karaka Million night where she is booked to partner the consistent Mistrahma in the Listed NZB Insurance Karaka 3YO Mile, Bamurru, Sleek Secret and Nipabrandy. – NZ Racing Desk.
