Million hope back in business
Black type performer Fortaleza remains on track for the Listed Karaka Million.
A debut behind Tennessee in the Listed Wellesley Stakes at Trentham, the Michael Moroney and Chad Ormsby-trained filly has overcome a setback which forced her withdrawal from last month's Listed Murdoch Newell Stakes.
"She had a two week break and she's back in the stable and looking good," racing manager Nick Fairweather said.
"She'll probably run at Ellerslie on January 9 and then hopefully have a crack at the Karaka Million."
