Group One performer Wyndspelle has been withdrawn from Saturday’s Gr.1 Rydges Wellington Captain Cook Stakes (1600m) at Trentham.
The Iffraaj entire impressed when winning fresh-up over 1550m at Awapuni last month, but the wet conditions have forced trainers Johno Benner and Hollie Wynyard to scratch their charge.
The track was rated a Slow9 on Thursday.
Jockey Jason Waddell will now ride Dolcetto in the Group One feature.
