The Auckland branch of the New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association will hold their annual stallion parade on Sunday, which will be followed by an awards lunch.
The stallion parade will begin at Westbury Stud (700 Linwood Road, Karaka) at 10:30am where the public will be able to view the stud’s six stallions (El Roca, Redwood, Reliable Man, Swiss Ace, Tarzino and Telperion) as well as get a chance to view the first season foals of Tarzino and Telperion.
The public will then have the opportunity to view Haunui Farm’s (113 Kidd Road, Karaka) stallions Iffraaj and Belardo at 11:30am. There will also be an opportunity to view Belardo’s first Southern Hemisphere foals.
Following the parade, the Auckland Branch of the NZTBA will hold their awards lunch at New Zealand Bloodstock at 12:30pm. Tickets for the lunch are $65. To purchase tickets please contact Shannon Taylor on 021 285 5513.
