Track conditions will dictate where progressive Smart Missile four-year-old Aim Smart starts next.
An impressive first-up winner at Ruakaka last month for new trainer Lauren Brennan, Aim Smart will race at either Hastings or Ruakaka on Saturday week depending on which track has the most suitable conditions.
"He's going really well. He's come through that win well and he'll either head to Hawke's Bay or back to Ruakaka, depending on the track," Brennan said.
Aim Smart has now won two of his five starts, having finished second in the Gr.3 Northland Breeders Stakes (1200m) at Ruakaka last season when prepared by Tony Pike.
Brennan has Singapore Guineas-placed Magnum earmarked for the Harcourts High Tea 1200 at Ruakaka on Saturday week.
