Tui Miles enjoyed an overdue win on Thursday

The patience and perseverance of Matamata apprentice Tui Miles was rewarded at Hawera on Thursday when she was successful on outsider Toodaloo.
The 23-year-old is indentured to Toodaloo’s trainers, Peter and Jessica Brosnan, and the win was the second of her career with just over 13 months between successes.
Her first win was aboard Seconds Out at Tauranga on June 26, 2017 and in 34 rides last season she had to settle for five placings, including a second.
But she has started the new season off well and for Toodaloo’s connections the win was a bit of a bonus as he is being prepared for a jumps career.
