The spring campaign of Cote D’Or gained momentum at Matamata this morning.
“She had her first run along and she’s in the three races at Hastings we’ll see what happens,” said Ken Kelso, who prepares the mare with his wife Bev.
“It’s exciting times with the new season coming up.”
The winner of eight races including the Listed Matamata Cup (1600m), Cote D’Or has been nominated for the Gr.1 Tarzino Trophy (1400m), the Gr.1 Windsor Park Plate (1600m) and the Gr.1 Livamol Classic (2040m).
