Smart mare Rayas is progressing well to kick off another campaign.
“She had three weeks off after her last run and she’ll probably trial soon and kick off in early August,” trainer Shane Brown said.
Rayas has won two of her last three starts and was turned out after finishing out of the money in the Gr.3 Rotorua Stakes (1400m) in May.
“I’ve got a lot of nice two and three-year-olds coming up and I think Casaquinman, Handfull and Bring to The Block are all genuine carnival horses as well,” Brown said.
