Former top jockey Jim Cassidy will be the guest speaker at a charity dinner next month with proceeds to go to the General Trust Fund.
The fund offers financial support for injured jockeys and is administered by New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing (NZTR).
The function is being organised by former NZTR chairman Guy Sargent and will be held at The Red Barn at Karapiro, south of Hamilton, on August 19.
Trackside personality Emily Bosson will be the MC for the evening, which will feature live and silent auctions.
