Anyone in the market for a progressive stayer might be well-advised to take note of Vittachi.
The four-year-old is being sold to dissolve the Homebush Partnership No.6, which races the son of Tavistock with Lib Petagna.
“It was set up as a trading entity and was always going to be wound up,” manager Bruce Perry said.
“We had three initially, one went amiss and the other was Ugo Foscolo so it’s been great.”
Trained by Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman, Vittachi has won three of his 11 starts including a Te Rapa success at his most recent appearance.
“He’s needed to get over more ground and he was pretty unlucky at Ruakaka the start before, he should have run first or second there,” Perry said.
