Prince Oz has maintained his unbeaten record in the South Island with his fifth consecutive win.
The son of O’Reilly broke his maiden for Raymond Connors and he hasn’t looked back since the Wanganui trainer, whose family own the strapping gelding, sent him to Neill Ridley’s stable.
Prince Oz carried 61kg to a comfortable victory in Wednesday’s Rural Transport Handicap (1200m) at Ashburton where he is undefeated in three appearances.
