She’s A Thief’s lucrative juvenile campaign is being rewarded with an extended break.
She won two of her five starts and placed in the Gr.2 Matamata Breeders’ Stakes (1200m) and third in the Gr.3 Eclipse Stakes (1200m).
“She’ll be back shortly and she’s doing really well,” co-trainer Pam Gerard said. “She had quite a long two-year-old preparation and, like Bocce, we were keen to give her a decent break.”
Foxwedge youngster Bocce was a juvenile winner and finished fourth in the Gr.1 Sistema Stakes (1200m).
