Group One performer Prince Of Passion is likely to do his future racing across the Tasman.
The Thorndon Mile (1600m) runner-up will shortly return to the Cambridge stable of Jon Miller before joining an as yet unconfirmed Australian trainer.
“He’s due back in another week, but I won’t be taking him over,” he said. “I’ll be concentrating on a number of younger horses.
“Tim Harrison has got a share in Prince Of Passion and has got the mare so he wants some black type and the very best of luck to him.”
The winner of five races, Prince Of Passion is out of the Desert Prince mare Hidden Passion, also the dam of the Tipical who has won two of his last three starts from Tony Pike’s stable.
