Jolly Honour (NZ) (Reliable Man) produced a strong staying effort to win the A$100,000 tab.com.au Handicap (2000m) at Randwick on Saturday.
Given a lovely ride by top hoop Tye Angland, Jolly Honour came with a well-timed run and hit the front at the 100m mark and eased away for a comfortable win, giving the impression that he would have no trouble going further.
Jolly Honour is trained by champion ex-pat Kiwi conditioner Chris Waller and is the third Reliable Man winner from the Waller stable in recent weeks and adds to the stallion's growing list of winners.
The handsome chestnut was sold at Karaka by Bradbury Park and was knocked down to the bid of Mulcaster Bloodstock for $70,000.
