New Zealand-bred star Werther is in line for a trip to Japan.
Hong Kong trainer John Moore will give the multiple Group One-winning son of Tavistock another gallop before confirming a tilt at the Gr.1 Takarazuka Kinen (2200m) at Hanshin on June 24.
In his first appearance since bleeding in the Gr.1 Hong Kong Gold Cup (2000m), Werther finished sixth last Sunday in the Gr.3 Lion Rock Trophy (1600m) at Sha Tin.
