Trainer Chris Waller has decided against running the New Zealand-bred filly Another Dollar in Saturday’s Gr.1 Queensland Derby (2200m) at Doomben.
“She has come through her narrow defeat in the Queensland Oaks without any issues, however I feel it would be best to give her a break now and prepare her for the spring with a likely tilt toward the Epsom Handicap,” he said.
The daughter of Ocean Park finished runner-up to stablemate Youngstar in the Oaks.
“Youngstar has pulled up well and the decision has been made to push on to the Queensland Derby,” Waller said.
