Blanco Bay and Masters Choice will get few better opportunities than those presented to them at Avondale on Wednesday.
“If they can’t win then they might never win,” co-trainer Kenny Rae said.
Blanco Bay runs in the AJC Members’ 2200m and Masters Choice is in the Wingate 200m while stablemate Major Tom will resume in the West Brook Cellar Door Waimauku 1400m.
“He’s a good horse, but he might just need the run,” Rae said.
Major Tom has won three of his 13 starts and is unbeaten in two outings on heavy tracks.
